Bruno furioso  le dice a rosaura  que ya todo está perdido  porque después de que rogelio le pegó a ana paula duda que lo perdone y él está cansado de aguantarle humillaciones  y que lo va a enfrentar, rosaura le dice que no debe pelearse  con rogelio  y que ella va a hablar  con ana paula para que lo perdone. Rogelio le dice a ana paula que prepare todo porque ella y margarito se van de la hacienda, ana paula le dice que no solo está renunciando   a  ella  si  no  también  a  su  hijo,  le  dice  que  es  un  cobarde porque no necesitó caminar para conquistarla,  rogelio responde que solo arregle sus cosas, que ya se está haciendo cargo para que tenga una casa donde  margarito  pueda  tener  su propio  caballo  aprender  a montar,  ana paula  le  dice  que  suponiendo  que  acepta  le conceda  un  último  deseo,  le pide  que la deje  disfrutar  de su compañía  mientras  llega  el momento  de irse.  Macaria  trata  de arreglar  su situación  con  ulises,  éste  le dice  que solo queda dividir los bienes, macaria le dice que se queda con la fonda y que  él  se  puede  quedar   con  la  casa  con  la  condición   de  que  deje  la recamara de maripaz intacta.
